  Intro to Shimmies

Let's go over the mechanics of a shimmy to get a deeper mind/body connection. First we will be going over some warm up drills to get the legs and hips warmed up and by the end of class you will be a shimmy machine! Come back to this class as many times as you'd like to continue working on a strong, ,continuous shimmy. Beginners Encouraged!

  Layering Drill

This is a continuous shimmy drill, the goal is to try to keep the shimmy up the whole time! Take breaks if needed and then jump back in.. if the layers are too much, focus on keeping the shimmy consistent first and then add the layers later. Ready, set, shimmy!

  Choo Choo

Get ready for some cardio, the choo choo shimmy is super high energy! *Please be careful of your knees*
